Shearer's was definitely from the opposition kick-off. I remember they (Villa?) passed it back to the keeper pretty much straight from the off, and Shearer charged him down. It went in off his arse.[/quote]


It was against Man City, the City player passed it back to Carlo Nash to give him an early touch because it was Nash's first game in ages, Nash took a touch, slipped and Shearer wacked it in.

Classic. Knew it had a decent element of comedy about it. Then again, any goal scored within 20 seconds has that, especially if it's against "The Team Best Equipped to Stay Up".
