Huntley & Palmer I was almost tempted to walk up and give him my opinion on people over 18 that wear shirts to games.

And did you see what shirt it was? A Kit@ Westcoast number!

Look more carefully, the pics on this thread quite clearly show this seasons.

Give the guy a break! Good to see he is coming along to support the team with us lot, rather than lording it in hospitality somewhere.

AF1 The man is a knob and cannot take a joke at all. All he had to do in the concourse yesterday was smile and give the crowd a wave and they would have left him alone. Instead he had to be a grumpy fu(ker :?

I saw him in a pub in Twickenham a few years ago and when some of the locals gave him a bit of banter instead of laughing it off he got up, left his pint and walked out in a huff

In fairness, his wife has just left him and im not sure having a group of people chant at him, reminding him of that fact, would have cheered him up all that much.

Perhaps he should have phoned a friend!

More seriously, shame we had to pick on one of our own - leave the opposing fans to do that. Wet Sham have plenty of celeb fans that could have been the target of Berkshire humour.

I bet he was mega pissed off with the West Ham program where inside it lists "Famous Reading Fans". Kate Winslet and Ricky Gervais (who I dont think have ever graced the Madejski ever let alone this season. That Cricket commentator guy got a mention and the one that made me laugh was Leo Sayer. Its offical Leo Sayer is more famous than Chris Tarrant!
Kate Winslett was sat three rows behind me at the Boro game.

I despair sometimes I really do, as someone else has said at least he is supporting his local club and really shouldn't have to take that sort of abuse.

How would you like it if you were having family problems and a load of people started singing and laughing at you? :?

Poor form and I thought we were bigger than that especially to one of our own fans no matter who he/she is.

If he perhaps tried to be a little more likeable and a little less smug then maybe he wouldn't find himself in these terrible situations.

Mr Angry Ricky Gervais ISN'T a Reading fan; his character, David Brent, was though.

I didnt think Gervais was. I think it was lazy journalism by the West Ham Match Program. Gervais - he's from Reading.

Isn't he a Millwall fan?

Ricky has said he doesn't really follow football or support anyone but if he was pushed he'd say Reading as that's here he was born.

good on CT for being with the fans, of course. But how long has he been supporting Reading? He was never around Elm Park or, as far as I know, the Madstad, pre last season or so. In fact I think he always used to state he supported Man U.

ps he is welcome of course.

G'La HighburyRoyale - The away-end pap! Nice shooting fella!

Ta

I actually agree about the poor bloke not being able to enjoy the game like any fan, but couldn't resist sharing the evidence for those that didn't travel. He seemed to take it all pretty well though.

If I found out he did any queue jumping to get that hotdog though, then the whole thing changes...

Kate Winslet, Leo Sayer and Ricky Gervais (doesn't really support anyone, but he will say Reading because he was born there) were all published in The Whiff on Saturday against Man Utd.

So perhaps thats where West Ham got it from??
