LoyalRoyal13 Love - Sorry to be repetitive but I'm gonna say Glen Little. SkySports claimed that Bolton's Kevin Nolan was the "unluckiest British player" at the moment. What rubbish! I genuinely can't see a better English right-winger at this moment in time! The man is a wizard with the ball at his feet and really doesn't get enough credit & attention! Plus he's a really top bloke!

Hate - Seol. This guy has no passion whatsoever! His inability to challenge for the ball or indeed make the slightest tackle makes him my least-liked player. The guy has talent but really looks out of place in a Reading side which contains for me a team of lads who (the majority) wear their hearts on their sleeves and I'm afriad Seol just doesn't do enough for my liking!

So the player you hate is an attacking winger that can't tackle, and the person you love is an attacking winger that can't tackle. Okie Dokie.

Alan Partridge Love - Lita, Ingimarsson. Lita because he's a sheer goalscorer best finisher in the club. Ingimarsson because he's proven the doubters wrong, is a role model for everyone at the club and a quality player. Very underrated.

Hate - Hunt probably, 100% effort, final ball? Usually average at best. Hate is a harsh word though, also like Mags, Harper is another candidate for the exact reasons. The Crab as he is known here, although he has played much better recently. At Portsmouth I was not in a freindly mood when describing the Crab's performance.

Quite a turnaround in your view of Ingimarsson!

I've always been a big fan of Ivar!

I did have one or two doubts about him at the start of the season, but I've always rated him! Maybe you have me confused with someone else?

I was the one frontrunning IVAR for player of the season campaign t'other year, had the Ivar avatar and Location for ages.

Embarssingly I also have this seasons home shirt with Ingimarsson 16 on the back

I probably only remember the doubts you had about his pace and whether he would be able to step up to the Premiership in the close season!

I dont think anyone can criticise anyones else selections on this thread. The whole point is that they are the biased!

i agree
i think seol is the only player at the club who can play anywhere near like glen little in attack, ball sticks to their feet, can walk it around defenders for fun. they are very similar, and despite seol scoring more, i love glen and seol get s on my tits

Love player

Sonko - I think if he came up and punched me in the face I'd still want to hug him  . I love his commitment, and the contrast between his physical presence on the pitch, and soft-spoken manner off it. Even when he does one of those unholy and aimless hoofs down the pitch I find myself wanting to cheer him. Definitely a love thing I fear...

Hate player

Sidwell - This is clutching at straws, because at the moment all of the Reading squad are in my good books. I think he's a great footballer, definitely want him to sign that contract, but just don't think I can truly respect a man who has his wedding vows tattooed on his back.

Thankyou! Besides Glen Little clearly can tackle, admittedly he is no Steven Gerrard but he wins the ball often enough and the man has the English game's passion! Seol walks around like he owns the pitch he just doesn't get stuck in!

Love: Kevin Doyle. How can you ever criticise a player that gives one hundred per cent, for 90+ minutes, week in week out, and even if he was a player of League 2 quality would still be worth every penny. Honestly can't recall a bad game for him though, so maybe my resolve is yet to be tested.

Hate: Seol.
Hate is a strong word though, and I fear my prejudice might be more to do with the fact that he wasn't part of last season's record-breaking team rather than any rational explanation.

Love: Bikey and De la Cruz, both got a lot of unwarranted abuse and i have really enjoyed their recent performances stepping up to the first team, I just really want them both to suceed so can excuse all the (little) things they do wrong

Hate: All the "Fans" around me who seem to constantly have a go at the players, each other, kingsley, their kids etc

Love - Bob Convey surely if this small, one eyed American can play football then anyone can, and I am sure that it is this that drives the rest of the on, when he arrive for his first season and didnt get a game i was unsure as to why and this was proved the following season

Hate - Leroy the man has a lack of control of not the only the ball but his brain as well, if there is trouble to be found Lita's your man

Love: Glen Little - I would pay my money just to watch him. A magician and an entertainer.

Hate: James Harper - Don't really see him doing a lot. When someone drives forward, it's Sidwell. When someone tracks back and win the tackle it's Sidwell.

Seol, doesnt appear to want to chase "lost" causes, complete opposite to Hunt but i think that is partially to do with Hunt driving to keep his place in 1stXI especially now Bobby is back fit.

LOVE -

Leroy Lita. Purely and simply the most deadly finisher this club will ever clap eyes on (yes better than Cureton before people start pointing it out). Lethal around the box, outside the box, inverted in the air and with his head. Love his bulldog celebration, love his couldn't give a toss attitude, love the fact that he plays for us as I'd be swearing my oxf*rd arse off at him every time he played against us

HATE/LOATHE -

Hahnemann. Purely and simply one of the most mediocre goalkeepers we have had, seems to live on some sort of reputation gained from not being as shit as Whitehead and Howie. Goes down like a sack of shit for low saves, then tends to spill them if he gets there as well. Goes to prove that Wesley Snipes was right in not only basketball but also American goalkeepers, might help if he lost some bulk by not going to Chilli's three times a week. Comes over to the crowd after every game as if he is some sort of hero. No matter what he does, i'm blinded by his inability.
