Focher When is he going to stop moaning about tackles against him? First Riggott, then Upson, now Denilson.

Maybe he should concentrate on improving his own game, which at the moment is pretty poor. Yes they were all bad challenges but get on with it Dave, thats football.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already

When is Kitson going to stop moaning about tackles against him? Maybe when the potential leg-breaker tackles stop flying in on him! The guy has made, what, 6 or 7 starts(?) this season and he's had 3 challenges on him which could easily have left him out for the rest of the season! Kitson has every right to be somewhat sensitive to these types of challenges because, as has already been pointed out, he has already missed over half a season because of said potential leg-breaker challenges! Just why should he stop moaning about them?! I'm pretty damn sure if you were in his boots you'd bloody moan about it! Let's give an analogy: you're at work, and you suffer an injury because someone has been negligible and you're out of work for 6 months. You return to work, and your performance drops to a level significantly lower than when you were at work before the injury, you don't reach your KPI's for example. You also almost suffer the same injury twice whilst performing the same activity, also due to another person's negligence. As a result of this scenario, are you going to moan in public or are you going to concentrate fully on reaching your KPI's?

What a thread. Ridiculously pathetic.

I think with Blakey, Oyster, Hunty, Seol, The Bobster and now Bozanic, we've got quite enough whingers. Why is Coppell trying to convert him?

the Don't criticise Kitson rule

Not at all, no-one is beyond criticism - not even SC who I felt got it wrong tactically early on against Manchester United in the cup replay. All I am saying is that Kitson has not long been back, started a mere 3 games since his bad injury and has already scored a couple. Doyle in his appearances since coming back from injury has looked far from sharp yet I don't see an anti-Doyle thread

Agree Doyle is not looking that good either at the moment but he has proved himself in the Premier, I don't think KItson has yet. I hope he will but I still think he needs to think and act a lot sharper

Lol...'Doyle has proved himself in the premier'... absolute rubbish... no player can say they have proved themself in the premiership after less than 1 season....many many players have a great season in the premiership and end up in the lower leagues.

As for Kit's not proving himself in the premiership...that is entirely ridiculous. Is 3 starts enough to prove yourself?... he hasnt had the chance to prove himself yet...

By the way...He WILL....nothing is gauranteed...but if you can't see that he has all the makings for a premiership player then you know very little about football

TBF I think he had a valid point with regards to Upson's and Riggots challenge. Riggots challenge especially, did make him miss half the season and should have been a straight red card, and Upsons was a leg breaker.

i wouldn't disagree with that at all, the only point i am making is he is starting to sound like a broken record. Im a big Kitson fan as a player, i just think he needs to get on with his football rather than dwell on bad challenges, or the fact we had a ginger day etc. i apologise to all Kitson lovers on here if i have offended you.

Get Halls back in and we might start winning again.

Dave Kitson is one of the few people who can cut through all the bullshit and media hype surrounding the Premiership. Let's have more of his candid views.

In comparison with Kitson, Doyle has proved himself as a Premiership quality player
Kitson has shown himself to be a very good Championship player. Through no fault of his own he has yet to do it in the Prem.
From what I have seen he has some way to go.
Leroy looked out of his depth early on but with application and no doubt some wise words from Sir Steve he is now looking the part. Let's hope Kits can do the same.

Lets not forget at Championship level Kitson scored more goals than Doyle. You cant judge Kitson in the Prem - he's only just getting back to peak fitness.

Kitson proved himself to be a better goalscorer in the Championship than Doyle.......as stated above.

Did you not say that he needs to think and act a lot sharper?

And that can be judged from the very limited appearances he has had.... where he scored versus Middlesborough and then set up two goals in the next two games when he came on as sub late in the game after serious injury!!

Sharpen up Kits, get your act together, you need to score at least 2 every game or our fans wont be happy!!!!

He's played 222 minutes of premiership football, 90 minutes against Arsenal & 75 Against Middlesboro, and around 40 coming off the bench against Man City (?) won a great ball two set up the second goal. I thought he's looked great considering what he's been through.

I still think that kitson & doyle will be our best two with Lita coming off the bench.

edit, plus the 1-2 with sidwell against villa, that a great goal

Oops forgot to mention Villa too...set up one for Sidwell...so what does that make it?

I remember

Middlesborough - scored -we won
Sub v Wigan - set up one - we won
Sub v Man City - set up one - we won
Sub V Villa - set up one - we won
Arsenal - We lost

Kitson out!!!!!

Note to Mr Harper... I love Kit's -not you!!

To sum extent Kitson is getting a tad boring. He moans all the time about other players moaning etc, but then spends 90 mins moaning to ref himself. I suppose he's just a tortured soul.

We have three strikers who have looked ok in the time they have been on the pitch at this level, Kitson had to come back from a serious injury and that will take time, Doyle is also returning from injury, lets hope he can get back to form fast, and Lita returned from a knee injury, which was said takes a long time to get back to full fitness by the club. Despite those injuries the squad up front has done very well for a first pop at the prem.
