Fred Sharpe's Nose
Jaytee Exactly - Hunt would be absolutely fantastic in a lower league, but he's never going to be an established Premiership player.

Hunt was NOT absolutely fantastic in a lower league, but he is now an established Premiership player.

Agreed. He is one of the most enthusiastic players on the team - not always the most skilful, but he has a handful of assists, a couple of goals, carried the flag well for BC while he was out (and is still doing so) and almost always causes teams problems.

He always gives the team a boost when he comes on as a sub, so I reckon he should be our Supersub - like Solskjaer for Manure.

Leave Hunty alone!

I'm willing to see Kitson not up to his normal standard for a couple of games.

He had nearly 6 months off (or more?) so he's bound to be a bit rusty. Theres only so much you can do on a training pitch.

Jaytee Who in the squad can really cut it and who can't:

Maybe:
Kitson (very doubtful)

Scores on his Premiership debut and gets crocked.

Comes on agaist Man City, helps turn the game and his tracking back and tackling leads directly to the second goal

Comes on against Villa and sets up a goal with an excellent 1-2.

and in the words of a Boro fan outside the Riverside the other week "Who was that ginger bloke you brought on, oxf*rd class".

May be a bit slow and injury prone but on the evidence of his brief appearances this season, ability wise looks very comfortable at this level

I don't think Convey,DLC or Bikey have played enough to make a judgement yet.
Is Frederici generally the keeper that we saw in the away cup game at Man Utd or in the replay?
Is an average 60 minutes per game from Little enough?
Does Hunt's enthusiasm bring enough to the team?
Do we really think that Oster would get into many of the other Premiership sides as one poster suggested?
Does Seol offer enough?
I think we will have quite a turnover in staff over the next few seasons but for the moment thanks to all the players for the parts, big and small, that they have all played.
A better judgement can be made in a couple of months' time and that judgement will be affected by whether we finish 7th or 11th.

There not seventh because of eleven players. Its a squad effort so theres no need to be questioning them.

WTF Jaytee or whatever you call yourself, have you been to a game this year or ever in fact? Hunt has been superb this year, something realey different that opposing defenders (or Cheatski keepers) don't like playing against, he runs and harries the ball for 90+ mins never giving up and eppitimises what RFC is all about, self belief. Start of the year you would of said no but he has had his chance and made his name one of the first on that team sheet. Buy the season review so far DVD, watch it and when you have learnt a bit come back and give us some real info on our team and not the players you fancy.

Yeah, that Kitson guy's rubbish - he was only our top scorer last season and he hasn't scored in a whole Premiership start since Boro - booooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

brendywendy hunts been great this year, really stepped up and made that left wing place his own for a large part of the season

& what the hell do you mean very doubtful about kitson, thats not even worth answering
i think seol and oster have both proved they can "cut it"
ok they havent excelled but they have come in when needed and done very good jobs most of the time

and i dont think convey can be in that 1st list yet, not cos he aint good enough, but becuase he hasnt had a chance to prove it or not

other than that a great 7th post

hunt has done well this season far better than expected the only thing i can critisice him over is his poor crosses
kitson still needs more games but confident he can "cut it"
oster had his best games against man u hopefully he can bring those perforances into the league
but seol is rubbish

I am a season ticket holder and have been since Mad was opened. I just go to watch the football. It's all about opinions, and it looks like I've hit some nerves.
Shouldn't 1871 Royal be using OAE and not Hobnob? I do so hate abuse.
It's far too easy.
