He may have missed that chance but Lita is playing far better tonight he hasnt dived once and with a bit more sharpness could have had 2 goals so far.

Have to say, he may have overhit some passes and such but i'm well impressed by Long's first touch and turning on the ball

First time for me seeing him as play in the central midfield and so far he's impressed me a lot, he surely must start now in on Sat insted of Gunnarson.

Fae looks good.

So do Bobby and Bikey.

Halls has held his own as well.

Not a bad performance so far

Agree, just a shame we've got Long upfront - imagine we had Kitson! We'd be winning this game! I like the lad, but he looks lost ....

Otherwise, Fae looks really strong and skillful in the middle - really impressed. Sometimes he sits back a big too much and leaves too much space in the middle; but he looks really good on the ball. Very promising.

Well done James as well - lots of fight as usual, but also some neat moves and good passes.

Thoughts at half time:

Halls isn't playing badly at all. Good width.

Bobby is playing very well. Pace, eye for the killer thing.

Long is annoying me - good touch and control, but something missing. Not quite sure what. Lita is much improved. HAsn't fallen over once. Got into goalscoring positions.

Bikey's playing quite well, but Yossi did him. There's something a little too static about central defence. Oh, and we're clearly looking to 'do' Torres. Seriously. After that first, accidental, twinge, I've seen three, I think, cases where we've battered him first, then won the ball.

Not that I care.

Fae is good. Decent engine, decent touch.
