At least they may get some toughening up by having to take on the physicality of competitive league games, but I agree that it's a pity that our loanees get no interest from clubs at the lower end of the Championship. If they are anywhere close to our first team they should be able to hold their own there.

Alan Partridge And still they won't be 'tested at this level' going to Bournemouth.

Not a bad move for Pearce, he has a lot of competiiton at CB.

Hnery though we were led to believe was in or around the first team, and with only limited options available, i think it speaks volumes him going Bournemouth.

not tested, but surely if they excel for bournemouth after a couple of games
that will prove at least that they are above league 1 level

Best thing for them both, a month or two with a FL outfit in games that matter to give them match fitness and we can see how they perform.

It would have been worrying if its was Conference level

Good move for Henry, Pearce proved last season he is comfortable and this level and you would have thought a Championship club would take him. I mean Halls, Sodje and Stack all managed to find Championship clubs that would take them....

Beckham, Redknapp and was it Defoe? have been on loan to Bournemouth. Let's hope they can add some Reading names to that list of top Premiership players that they've had on loan in the coming years.

Defoe took the proverbial against us for Bournemouth at our place a while back.

I think it is just a month for now although I guess the loan can be extended.
