cmonurz Hahnemann
Rosenior
Ingimarsson
Sonko
Shorey
Bikey
Gunnarsson
Harper
Convey
Doyle
Kitson

4-2-3-1.

Bikey and Gunnarsson in front of the defence, Harper further forward, Convey and Doyle on the wings.

I think this is the best way and I would like to see this tomorrow but I can't see SC doing it.

Didnt Coppell say on Friday that he expected Arsenal to go 4-5-1 and he would probably have to match that formation

Yep, that's what I would go (maybe Cisse instead of Fae) for but still can't see SC dropping Hunt for Bobby or Murts for Liam or Bryn for Fae/Cisse.

We must go for 4-4-2; the 4-5-1 at Blackburn was very painful to watch. We have to try and score rather than just attempt (unsuccessfully) to repeat what we did at Old Trafford in August.

He said that Arsenal surprised him last year by going 4-5-1, by the time he'd realised what they had done and looked to make changes we were already a goal down and their tails were up.

I expect us to be 4-5-1 tonight to keep it as tight as possible, maybe opening up in the 2nd half a bit if still in the game.

A good set of results by the teams around us this weekend have made losing to the Arse not as bad as it might have been.

Nevertheless, I think we could scrape a draw with the following:

--------------Hahneman------------

Murty ----Ingi------Sonko-----Shorey

--------------Gunnarsson--------------

Doyle-----------Harper----------Convey

-----------------Kitson--------------------

-------------------Lita---------------------

Subs: Oster, Feds, Bikey, Hunt, Long

This might just give us enough to hold tight at the back and launch counter-attacks.

Nezhen --------------Gunnarsson--------------

Doyle-----------Harper----------Convey

-----------------Kitson--------------------

-------------------Lita---------------------

So you're suggesting that we just make the sign of the cross and pray?

Way way way too defensive. No chance of scoring with that.

I am going for this, the unexpected 9-2 formation:

Hunt-Gunnarsson-Murty-Ingi-Hahneman-Sonko-Shorey-Bikey-Harper
------------Doyle-------Kitson--------------

The Arse are quite a tasty outfit on their day but wedging 9 players in the goalmouth and Doyle and Kits at center back whilst stiffling Wegners game plan could proove a danger in successfully utilizing the offside law.

What stupid fans Reading have.

Majority of them were getting all frustrated and bitchy in the first half when Reading were doing exactly what they should have been doing (against a vastly superior team) AND doing it well. No- they want Reading to go forward and instead lose 6-0. Stupid idiots.

BBc Berks full of whinging texts that want their 'entertainment' ... knobs.

When you pay £30+ for a ticket you have a right to say whatever you want IMO.

Yes, we were doing brilliantly losing at half time.

I'm sick of this f*cking inferiority complex our fans have. We should NOT be happy with damage limitation against any side and should at least bloody COMPETE. A conference side could have got lucky with Adebayor hitting the post and sitting back all game losing 3-1, doesn't mean it's an achievement. We were absolutely gutless tonight.
