He should have saved that - definitely.

It's not USA's fault that he goes down in installments, it's Chilli's fault

Pompey match

They had 12 shots on target and 7 were goals
We had 6 shots on target and 4 were goals

Marcus was 'better' than James on that day

Marcus was one of the best keepers in the league as well according to the stats. So that about sums up how accurate they are

The stats are accurate, they are just badly interpreted...

Any outfielder can make a specific mistake and nobody comments much and certainly don't rate it as a reason to drop the player. Goalkeepers make a mistake and everyone wants him dropped. For example, do we want Doyle dropped if he hits the ball over the bar? It costs us a goal, so why not?

Secondly, as mentioned by another Nobber above, the defence is letting strikers throough at leisure, so Marcus has to try to retrieve a desperate situation not of his making. For the first (or was it second?) Arsenal goal, why has Shorey not been dropped - and not even crticised - for allowing the overlap and why has Sonko not been dropped (and not critisised) for allowing Flamini to get in front of him? Both mistakes led to the goal and Marcus had no chance with it.

Hahnemann struggles with just about every goalkeeping aspect apart from actual shot stopping. Typical American in that he rushes into things without thinking (Iraq).

One hell of an achievement for him to have made it to being a Premiership player and international then.
You'd imagine there must be people out there who can actually do it all and Hahnemann would never have got the gig...
