I think his appearances have been posted elsewhere and he's featured in rather more games than that.
The view was that he wouldn;t get a look in, whereas he has. And the ANC hasn;t even started yet....
He's done better than most predicted he would. End of story.

You never know in football.

Who'd have thought Scott Murray would go back to Bristol City so quick?

The Greg Halford episode springs to mind.

Who knows, but I doubt it.

Admission of failure and a reduction in pay package is also to be considered.

His record is 4 Prem Starts, 3 sub apps (in 13 games)

2 League Cup starts and a sub app in Valencia in the CL.

I don't think friendlies count towards appearance stats.

Would I welcome Sidwell back?

Yes, particularly if we could do a part exchange for Gus the teenage cow and every one of his pointless threads.

I would hold the opposite end of the red carpet from Woodcote Royal with one hand, whilst eating humble pie with the other.

If there's pie to be eaten, that'd definitely get Caskey back.

I dont think he'd want to come back to Reading. Some bigger Prem club would have him that could nearly match the wages he's on now. He wouldn't want to take a massive pay cut.

Very unlikely to happen. It would be too much of an admission of failure on both sides. My prediction is that in a year or so Sidwell will move to Charlton after they have been promoted under Pardew.

Betrayed us by going to the swindle scumbags. Never ever take him back. Nor Jimmy Quinn or Adie Williams!!!
