RoyalBlue Walton = useless **NT!

Couldn't wait to get his red out on TV.

As Andy Gray has just said, you'll see at least 4 or 5 challenges like that in the PL later this pm and they will only be deemed worthy of a yellow.

Hope he's as quick to even things up.

Travelling Royals need to bay for blood every time a West Ham player commits an offence.

We must continue to attack then

I sense we'll get a penalty later in the game.

howser Sadly this is the inconsistency of referees, as was said by Andy Gray on match commentry, there will be worse tackles this afternoon that go unpunished, but it was two footed and by the letter of the law its a red !

And if referees are only going to ref by the letter of the law without applying common sense and/or judgement, we might as well replace them with computers!

Royal Blue, I completely agree with what you say, but common sense has been taken out of the game nowadays, which is a shame as it is spoiling matches as it has with this one

For those of you that haven't seen the pictures, the red card is easily one of the top five worst sending off decisions ever.

Walton's lost control - what a surprise!

Andy Gray: 'Hunt is totally innocent in what happened there - Green trying to hide his mistake'.

What the hell was the so called 'Asst Referee' on that side playing at? He should have seen exactly what Green did and told the ref accordingly.

Shame Green didn't get his ugly face rearranged in the initial collision with his defender.

John Madejski's Wallet rreally sh*t time to conceed

My thoughts exactly, 3 minutes before half time.

WHAT THE FECK!!! Hunt just got a yellow card for nothing apparently. Green knocked into his own defender, and apparently Green said something about the petr cech incident, and put his hands round hunt's neck.

Hunt then got a yellow card.

Poor Hunt!

Big-team syndrome when we are playing arsing West Ham is so unfair.

The irony is that if the same refereeing standards had been used on Saturday then Sunderland would have been down to 8 players by half-time.

Time to take the loss?

Substitute Kitson and Doyle/Murty to save them for another and take Hunt off to prevent the second yellow, in case West Ham players decide he needs another booking.

Bring on Bikey and let Green find out what a real collision is!
