Bill Oddie's Beard Tbf there was a Leroy Lita tribute thread and he only went out on loan.

Ah yes, I blame Thaumagurist* for that one, but his loan was confirmed by then. This one hasn't been confirmed yet.

It's quite obvious that we're getting rid of our players with the shorter surnames, in order to bring in a load of players with much longer ones, so that the club makes more money on the shirt printing.

Accordingto Daily Mail its a done deal. Hope he has got over his cold

Dave Kitson is on his way to Stoke City after Reading accepted a £4m bid.
The initial fee for the former non-league striker is believed to be in the region of £2m with the remainder based on Stoke's success during their first season in the Barclays Premier League.

Stoke-bound: Dave Kitson
Birmingham also approached Steve Coppell but he was reluctant to allow them to speak to Kitson because he sees them as one of Reading's main rivals for promotion from the Championship next season.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has also contacted Ipswich Town over a £2m deal for midfielder-cum-forward Jonathan Walters.

Exactly - couldn't they have come up with a better excuse? Actually, scrap that - they could have just said "we're probably selling him to Stoke, just a few odds and ends to sort out first".

I'll be upset to see him go, he's got that extra skilful something that most Championship defences struggle to deal with. And even though he's 28, I think he has the class to be effective at the top level for another 5 years. A difficult one to replace, but replace him we must.

Stoke buying Kitson is the biggest indicator of our balls up last season so far, after demotion of course.

Just find it a bit wierd that Tuesday afternoon the team for Forest Green was confirmed. By the time the game came about, Kitson had fallen ill. Either something happened regarding Stoke, or some Forest Green fan sneezed on his Sainsburys Salad bowl to get him out the game.
