North Somerset Royal As I have said on countless other threads that is an urban myth. At no time have Arsenal offered the job of Director of Football to Hammond.
Indeed. Would he still be here if that was the case?

SCIAG There has been no confirmation that Sonko has left. The unofficial Stoke site and a few tabloids aren't exactly known for their reputation in telling the truth.
Lies Lies Lies.

kingsleyroyal I'm not jumping on a bandwagon, but Hammond is poison. Within the football circle, his reputation is regarded apaulling. He doesn't know what he is doing (except selling Sonko!).
The reason our club is in this situation is purely down to him. Hammond out!

RoyaleeStreets Steve Coppell quoted in todays EP added: “No-one has come in for any of our players,” insisted the boss.
“I don’t expect anything to happen now but you never know.
No one told him Sonko was being sold...
Hammond out.
LOL

'greed, unfortunately turned into a liability in the last season and a bit. Duberry is by far the better option if he is fit and Pearce looks like he is ready to step up, with Bikey available as well.

rfcjoe You've gotta hand it to them pikies in stoke. They really sre showing the ambtiton we lacked and fair play to them, I hope they do well and show us where we went wrong.
