Southampton because they're the biggest team in the south of England.

I'm envious of Wigan £250 a season ticket, and a chairmon who keeps his word and keeps his club in the Premiership.

Slight flaw is that they are in the premiership, so don't count as being in the championship. Well done though.

Sheffield United will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

SCIAG
rg6royal I don't think QPR will be a big threat to us come the end of the season. Wolves and Brum indeed.

I think the envy would be of their cash...

richest club in the division

but there season tickets are £600+
so no, im not envious at all

I've seen Birmingham play this season at Norwich and they were very unimpressive. I would expect us to be in the top four at the end of the season, possibly even top two if we find form.

Ditto. i saw them play the Blades and they were awful. Very fickle fans! We'll finish above them this year.

Just because Brum have started well is no guarantee of anything.

Never forget that in 2005/066 Sheffield United started like a train, and it wasn't until we beat them on 1st October (after 12 matches) that we went top, above them. In the end we finished 16 points ahead of them.

I'm only envious of Donny Rovers - at their highest level for 50 years, no pressure, anything they achieve above bottom place will be a bonus. They must be loving it, especially when they look around them and realise that mid-table is not an unrealistic ambition.

I'm envious of Crystal Palace for having such a great manager.

Even more so considering what they'v been through over recent years - for instance having their chairman burn down the main stand as an insurance job.

Doncaster and more recently Colchester are similar to Reading back in 1986/7. Actually Doncaster is like Reading in 1986, back at this tier for the first time since 50 or so years ago. Expect them to achieve midtable and then relegation next season.

Despite my great dislike for Bristol City, I think they will challenge for top six. Also QPR. I won't all be about Birmingham and Wolves.

I honestly can't see Brum lasting the whole season, but everyone in football I've spoken to about the CCC this season says that Wolves are the team to watch this season. They're very similar to how we were 3 seasons ago.

when QPR was taken over i thought they would buy big and be high up but to be fair they dont look anything great, not envious of any team but will look over my shoulder at Brum, Wolves and Sheff U being a threat

No one really.

I think Wolves and probably Sheff Unt will be the ones we most have to worry about. Not that impressed with Brum and expect us to finish top of the three relegated sides.

Whether we get promotion depends on how the guys gell together and how much they "want" it. If they want it as much again as in 2005/6 then we will get automatic promotion but if not I still think we will make the play offs. Think it is telling that even with all the distractions that a relegated team gets - we are still in the top 6 - without as some have said playing that well.

Birmingham are the only club that have clearly got a better squad than us at the mo
everyone seems to be mentioning wolves but their defence is average - good strikers though
QPR could potentially buy their way into contention in jan - currently i think we are better than them though
i can also see sheff utd and charlton pushing us for promotion this year

Brum and Wolves

Both look decent teams and will be difficult to beat. If we can take points of each of them we will be doing well
