Righto. Incidentally, I was on the Southbank long before Michael Meaker did his little dummy shoulder drop for the millionth time.

Good man. You remember in the programmes at elm park they used to have the "opposition star player" chunk under the visitors? I remember alex mathie from there, I used to take the comments there as gospel so I was always worried when one of the star players got the ball.
Remember the likes of dele adebola, clive mendonca, etc all appearing in there

Can you just give it a rest now, or go and start your own topic in AE?

Anyway back to the match and the Ipswich skipper has gone off injured (Gareth McAulry) and has been replace dby Balkestein.

It was aimed at anyone contributing to the bickering that has nothing to do with this match.

With nothing to go on but the BBC text Ipswich sound on top, however the quick Little sounds our most dangerous player again.

Anyone who has images or commentary can they give slightly more info please!!

The "quick" Little I think explains who was on about.

According to BBCRB commentary, Ipswich have had a 'big dominance' this half.

Doesn't sound like the most enthralling game. Ipswich have hit the bar twice. Kebe sounding dangerous. Long sounding poor. Reading midfield sounds like its missing. Seems like Ipswich are getting more on top the longer it goes on.

Commentators are saying Long is very poor. I hope Coppell does something about that...

I know what everyone is saying about giving Long a run in the team, at to an extent he does deserve it. But I can only think of the cup game against Darlington where he has started and really looked like a player

Another 5 - 10 mins, Long off, N.Hunt on.

So far so good. A point from Ipswich away would be a good result.

we've struggled to break into a stride although we started to get our act together in the last 5 minutes.

By the sounds of things Long needs to come off, he's just not cutting it today.

SymonsO not an awful half, both have had fair share of chances although Ipswich have had the lion share of possesion.

I would like to see someone a bit less lightweight than long upfront, not sure about the decision to start him. Also, would like to see hahnemann catch more, all the corners that get given away because he doesn't catch some bread and butter crosses and shots will cost us a few goals over the season. Already cost us a pen against palace...

Good to see wolves losing!

Mmm, think a draw from that game would be best for us. Have a feeling that Charlton will be just as much of a threat as Wolves this year.
