rabidbee So that's "none", then.

What is Bikey's position with 3 yellows and 1 red. Does that count as 4 yellows in totting up?

No. He's already served a suspension for the red which cancels it out. Likewise yellows which lead to a second yellow and a red don't count either.

The FA/PL don't punish people twice. Lets face it half the time they don't punish them once.

Although they kind of do, because you get harsher suspensions as the cards rack up. To try to discourage you from being naughty, see.

Bikey might be on four yellows - the programme and RFC website show four, but other sites have three. The difference is the QPR game, where the other sites have Rosenior booked instead of Bikey. Certainly can't remember it myself and after a quick look at some match reports none have mentioned the incident(s).

According to the BBC website it is 3 (Watford, Stoke and SheffU). They have Rosenior only booked against QPR

As for those who think he is a poor ref his standing is around 2nd or 3rd behind Howard Webb in the top of the pops for refs.
We just have to accep that ALL refs are bad.
I do prefer a ref who is decisive and issues cards and awards penalties to the type (like Wiley) who do the calm down sign all the way through a game and are frightened of taking decisions.

Wouldn't a more logical conclusion be that fans' expectations are unrealistic, or that fans are unable to accurately interpret the laws of the game?

Programme says Bikey
BBC says Rosenoir
Sky Sports says Rosenoir

OS: Rangers were by no means out of it, and they wanted a penalty when Daniel Parejo went down in the box, but there was no contact from Bikey and Parejo was lucky not to be sent off, having been booked seconds earlier.

I see what they've done. This sentence probably confused the programme writer

handbags_harris Snip.

His performance against us when we played Pompey at home was worse. Firstly he gives a penalty and sends off Sonko, and I doubt he could even see what was happening and Benjani was on the other side of Sonko to him. It wasn't an obvious goalscoring oppurtunity as the angle was so narrow. Then he books Murty for nothing after a blatant dive, from Utaka iirc(his first "foul", as well), before failing to book him for a blatant foul!
For their goal, Diop almost broke Harper's legs, and he gave a free kick against Harper! They swing it in, and an offside Campbell scores after Marcus is fouled. Worse 30 seconds of refereeing ever.
At the other end, Distin actually fouls the man in a similar style to Murty's booking except without the simulation, and he isn't booked.
Finally, Kanu literally strangles Ingimarsson on the halfway line as Pompey counter attack. Certain red, yet he doesn't give it a second glance!
Easily the worst ref around.

On a different note, can anyone actually name a good ref? I'll suggest Adam Wiley.

S09Royal
handbags_harris Jesus Christ, I actually fear for Saturday now. The 2-1 defeat to Chelsea was one of the most abysmal, one-sided performances from a referee I've seen, it was up there with the previous season's corresponding fixture with Mike Riley. I remember him booking 3 or 4 of our players in the first half alone, yet Chelsea players seemed to get 3 bites at the cherry for similar offences. We battered Chelsea that half, and if Dean had been fair then they wouldn't have ended up with 11 men on the pitch at half time, let alone after 90 minutes. I seem to remember Sidwell and Carvalho finally getting their deserved booking after numerous offences, and Joe Cole in particular had a number of fouls given against him yet he wasn't even booked. Interestingly though, the stats show that he booked more Chelsea players than Reading. This guy is an abysmal referee, and I fully expect him to well and truly oxf*rd us over once again, just like he has done in 3 of the last 4 games he's reffed us.

I do too, with an attitude and filthy language like that.
Not apprecitated. Not worth it.

LOL @ the God Squad being offended by that, one of Handbags Harris least offensive rants ever  . The man whose language is usually so bad it could curdle milk.

I expect to use plenty of expletives myself towards the telly on Saturday if that snivelling, arrogant cretin Dean is refereeing, although watching it with my dad may mean I have to curb my enthusiasm somewhat.

Its definitely worse being at home and getting rollocked by the family for foul and abusive language at a plank ref than being among thousands of others ranting at him..better send them shopping with this one..and I think Marek might be the one in danger o a red if he plays..not the greatest tackling technique.

Or you're better off going to the pub to watch this. I'm sure the pub will be quiet that nobody will mind you swearing at the referee.

Dean is the tool who sent Sodje off at OT for pulling back Rooney when infact Rooney was offside. Officially a plank!
