Do you know if they did hold it back? I can't imagine TVP would have wanted several hundred Cardiff fans wandering around town with nowhere to go.

Jerry, having seen the crew that came down Kensington Road, post match, I can't imagine for one minute that TVP would have allowed the Cymru Cruiser to carry on without them.

The police were already cheesed off with their antics during the day, as was shown by the appearance of the mounted section, before the game, once another wave of boyos had made their way from Prospect Park.

I must admit it's the only time on the way to a game of footie, at Kent Road, where I've been questioned on my nationality before being allowed through.

Just seen on the official site that, in the event of a replay, tickets would be £12.

Bring it on.

Jerry St Clair
Thames Valley Bluebird I remember that at Elm Park in 1998

Nobody went anywhere :D

At the time I just assumed they'd hold the train back anyway, which seems to be what all the Cardiff contingent thought aswell, because not a single persona appeared to leave. Do you know if they did hold it back? I can't imagine TVP would have wanted several hundred Cardiff fans wandering around town with nowhere to go.

They held it from what I remember

I was living in Southampton at the time and got the train from Reading West. Spent an unhappy hour waiting for a change of trains at Basingstoke as I remember it

Great old fashioned football night at Elm Park

I shall be taking a bag of carrots for the police horses - and if feeling particularly jovial some polo mints.

No, but they called a game off half way through. Waited for everyone to buy refreshments at half time and then announced a waterlogged pitch!

I am not a glutton for punishment so will probably just listen to the radio......that instinct called 'self-preservation' seems to be overwhelming me ! :)

2-2 again and win the replay with a Fed penalty on 98 mins

hardest prediction is Reading team
Fed Murts Golbourne Bikey (I hope as it means he is staying) Pearce / Henry Gunnar Karacan Convey / Long plus Noel (or whats the name of that other big Irish guy who has got goals for the reserves or is he injured ?..or maybe they will do a rapid recall of Lita too..nah ..only joking..Leroys definitely off.

Take a few bones for the police dogs. I remember being snarled at (by the policemen and the dogs!) at Millenium Stadium....
