And even though the post was a joke, it is still true. If we can turn our form around and string together some wins we can still finish in 2nd. It may not look like it is possible now, but it is and it is in our own hands.

I still believe. And I will not stop believing until we are mathmetically eliminated from finishing 2nd.

Back in play thanks to the Blades. Win out and we finish 2nd at worst.

Mind you though, the Blades going to Cardiff and scoring 3 is quite impressive, and they are only 2 points behind us now

Yes, nothing to do with the fact Cardiff were reduced to 9 men before half time! Still got to watch Sheff Utd - and they'll have a home game on 4th April while we're, no doubt, turning in another wonderful post international break performance at Coventry.

Then we play them the following week. Plus their goal difference has been steadily creeping towards ours. Nightmare scenario is we beat Brum on the final day to go above them only to see the Blades leapfrog the pair of us with a win at Palace. Well, it's a nightmare scenario if you want us to go up, anyway. Not sure I do.

6 wins and a draw will do as long as the draw isn't against Brum... even if the rest still win all there other possible games we should still go up on goal difference from Brum and Cardiff.

What you are all missing is that Brum (and Wolves of course) control their own destiny too.

Mmmm Colins Palace at home to the team he loves and supports. The same person who presently is trying to get a few quid compensation over the Tevezgate matter.

I think it will be a little interesting should Sheff Utd require a win. It was bad enough last season with Pompey rolling over to Fulham. Shirley it could not happen again!

You could make a case for 29 May 1995 and 27 May 2001. (Although of course we did lose both those)

That picture of 'comical' when he was waffling on about how their version of the SAS were trouncing the infidel dogs was priceless. Just as our lads' tanks were seen trundling past him in the background. By that stage their destiny had definitely been decided.
