The phrase 'refusing to blame the pitch' being used so many times that it becomes obvious Graham Murty is not just blaming the pitch for us not yet being home and hosed, but also thinks it is responsible for the credit cruch and pig flu as well.

following the pitch invasion by the Birmingham fans, we still have 20 minutes to play here, and with Sheff utd drawing at CP, Birmingham are going up, unless Reading can score, Birmingham have now taken ALL of their forwards off and have 11 defending

"Its a game of 2 halves"

taking about kebe ... "If a Ronaldo had done that, we'd all be raving about it"

talking about Kitson... "for a big lad, he's good with his feet."

Hunt Lining up a free kick .... "Are we about to see a Stephen Hunt special?". The ball is ballooned into outer space but the commentator comes over all disapointed as if it's some sort of huge surprise that for the 734th consecutive time Hunt has completely wasted a great chance.

"So, Kevin Pundit, which of these teams do you think Manchester United would least like to face next season?"
