Mike Hunt
Harry Carry Get yer money on Chelsea.....

My Money is on Liverpool.

Man U are being priced out of everything, so they will be lucky to sign anyone of substance.

And no players want to go to Chelsea - Real Madrid is the new Chelsea...

That would be the same Liverpool that is running out of bank support and the same Man Utd that is the strongest financially based club then would it?

GF really but Liverpool are having their loan refinanced and Gillet's sale of the Habs has given him about $350M of spending money

was meaning that Man U now have 80 million from the sale of Ronaldo, and everyone knows they the will have the majority to spend...

Means that a team could slap on an extra 25%+ and Man U will eventually get desperate and pay it...

No players want to go to Chelsea? The transfer market won't pick up till another two weeks as players are only just getting back from holiday. HTH.

Mind you, believe everything they say in the papers......

This site might be worth keeping an eye on TROLI, lists the dates of expected games at the moment, so thats a start.

Thanks for that, Bus. Interesting to note the weekend of the Newcastle game:

Sat 15 Aug 13:00 TBC Barclays Premier League Sky Sports 1 (12:30-15:00) Sky Sports HD1 (12:30-15:00) More
Sat 15 Aug 17:30 TBC Barclays Premier League Sky Sports 1 (17:15-19:30) Sky Sports HD1 (17:15-19:30) More
Sun 16 Aug 13:30 TBC Barclays Premier League Sky Sports 1 (13:00-15:30) Sky Sports HD1 (13:00-15:30) More
Sun 16 Aug 16:00 TBC Barclays Premier League Sky Sports 1 (15:30-18:30) Sky Sports HD1 (15:30-18:30) More
Mon 17 Aug 19:45 TBC League One Sky Sports 1 (19:30-22:00) Sky Sports HD1 (19:30-22:00)

Does this mean that they're not showing any Championship games over that weekend? What about BBC?

Did I say that? No. Of course there is debt at Man Utd, any reasonable sized business carries debt. It is the whole picture that counts, and as the biggest financial draw in the footballing world they are still pretty sound I think. Liverpool are not quite so secure yet.

I don't like that website much, it seems a bit centred on the big 4.

BBC Coverage next season

by rhroyal » 01 Jul 2009 12:12

I don't know if people are aware of this, but next season all football league goals will be available on BBCi to UK users. I have to ask the question, why not world users? I'll be out of the country for a year, why shouldn't I be allowed to watch our highlights? What difference does the country I live in make when I'm using the WORLD WIDE web?
