Newcastle's discipline is shocking. And we're in danger of winning this. Some good football here.

No intent from Barton on getting the ball then, should of been another booking for newcastle.

Love how Smith gives his all, but on one yellow and a final warning, what is he doing still sliding about? He must get sent off today, surely.

Passing it around nicely. Everybody looking relaxed and composed. I like what I am seeing.

Great ball in.. who don't you want on the end of it? Shane Long. And he doesn't connect.

Newcastle cross from the left and their player headed it across and past Feds...good cross and header in fairness.
Newcastle are playing down the left hand flank all the time.

First half assessment.

One yellow for Smith was sufficient.
Passing not as sharp as last week but same approach.
Not enough urgency in final 3rd. Been a couple of chances for someone screaming into the box.
Church is not a right sided player and keeps letting his player go. Could blame him for the cross which led to the goal.
Nothing Fed could of done.

More urgency please 2nd half.

Robson for Church please.

I am loving the new Reading, now 2 hours 15mins and not a single shot on target in the league.

Looking pretty decent really, despite the goal. Think the key will be how well Long/Church take their chances in the 2nd half. Begging for Davies to push up a bit more though. Kebe not bad as a left winger, no worse than Hunt in reality. Ref decent enough despite leniency to scumbags Smith and Barton.
