He was poor last night, no one is writting him off, or even mentioning it. Just he played bad last night.

It feels like we have a lot of player trying to find their feet at the moment...

I can't believe some of the rubbish people put up here. Here is a scouting report written by steve claridge who even though a striker probably knows more about football than all of hna put together.

Players do take some time,i think the price tag has given him a level of expectation though. He's a defender, played 1 league game,1 clean sheet.

As others have stated it took others more than one game to get familiar with everything, he'll be ok.

At least no-ones started a thread criticising the young lad after just one league game, that would be really harsh.

Oh.

Ideal Fantasticly poor value for money, if we had spent £2M on toilet paper at least we could have wiped our arses with it! Instead we have the new Elroy Kromheer.

How I wish we had kept Duberry.

Our team is now a big joke. I'm sorry, but someone has to say it - the joke is on us.

Yes but why start a thread about it specifically, why not mention it in the match thread?

He's played one f**king game. You normally post with a bit more sense. The joke is clearly on you.

Don't you live in Scandanavia? I'll be really interested to know how much you've actually seen of Mills?

What I do find odd is that they're slating a defender for not slipping straight in. Now, to some extent, you'd expect a forward or winger to be more capable of doing so. But a defender? When it requires teamwork, anticipation of others, communication and understanding.

That's really quite silly talk.

Royal Lady Call me old fashioned, but I expect a player from a team such as DONCASTER who has been bought for £2 MILLION to be something a bit special. Apparently, on recent showings, he's not.

You get what you pay for. £2million won't buy you a 'special' player. It will buy you an average one that might be able to compete at Championship Level.

Ideal I just expected more from a £2M-player. I expected him to be a class above the rest, not the other way around.

After one game when he's hardly had a preseason...

I'm sure he will be when he's had 6-7 games under his belt.

Can't agree with this, he's recently signed and joined a crap team, he's hardly going to look like Vidic for a good while in a sinking ship is he. The whole team is playing badly so why single him out?
