I agree that Rogers needs time to rebuild. And I think most of us have always been willing to accept mid table this season while he does that. But there is no such thing as the luxury of losing: rebuilding has to include some wins.
I became fed up with hearing on here last year how bad this league was, when the fact is that every team was hard to beat at one time or another (except perhaps Sheffield Wednesday). There are no easy games, as Peterborough showed. At the present time, no team looks an easy prospect, not excluding Ipswich and Plymouth. If we want the luxury of losing while we rebuild, we will go down. And I will personally shoot with a crossbow anyone who comes on here to suggest that going down may somehow be a good thing in the long run. Football is about winning and about entertaining the fans, who can't be expected to keep coming in decent numbers if the team is unsuccessful.
