According to Hood on Reading Player a member Reading staff decked him just after the half time whistle. Can't wait to see if the FA take action against us, I can imagine the video evidence becoming a huge hit on youtube.

So that's why the marines laid into Kingsley

Good job they got payback

According to Tim Dellor, Ben Hamer was involved in an "altercation with the mascot" at halftime. :D

Listening at the time the RW commentators couldn't see or didn't say who it was, but did say that one of the Reading squad had taken him out or something similar.

Good on whoever it was.

Funny how one of the main points in the game was missed from the TV highights, isn't it?

For those who weren't at the game, can anyone shed a light on how his jaw was broken? Any foul play from the cvntish Derby players?

IIRC it was just after a corner/free kick and Howard just went up with one of their players. Completely accidental from where I was sitting, no malice

No we're not. We missed Sigurdsson last night as it meant Matejovsky had to play a role he is not capable of playing.

We most certainly are. Cisse and Gunnar are showing us all how not to play in a 5 man midfield.

I refer you back to my previous point. Had Sigurdsson played then Gunnar would not. We can cope with having one of Howard and Sigurdsson missing but not both.

Not sure about Matejovsky not being able to play there, but totally agree we missed our player of the season so far last night, mainly because it meant we had both Cisse and Gunnarsson in the middle instead.

I can only assume that Sigurdsson was being rested as he hasn't got the stamina to play more than 60 minutes in a match so I guess that means playing 3 times in 7 days would be asking too much!

Hoop Blah Not sure about Matejovsky not being able to play there

He's played pretty well in the more defensive position and last night he waslost playing behind Rasiak. You need somewhere there who can make runs into the box and support the striker. Sigurdsson does the very well, Howard is pretty good at it, Matevosky is pretty useless at it.

He was useless at it last night I totally, but I think he can play there quite effectively, although perhaps not behind the static Rasiak.
