Ideal oxf*rd off Brendan Rodgers, you won't be missed.
You brought us nothing but miserable results, horrendous tactics, pathetic team selection, and even worse you wasted millions of pounds in the transfer market.
You are a oxf*rd disgrace, and I disapprove of the way you have badmouthed the club to the media, saying you resigned because you weren't promised more transfer funds, well I have news for you pathetic oxf*rd, only losers like Royalee will miss you, those of us that don't live on planet fecktard are glad to see you go, piss off and never come back.

Came in talking of promotion, sustainable Premiership football and Europe.

Continued talking of skilful soldiers, models, cycles journeys

Sadly there was nothing behind the words.I couldnt' stand the guy's arrogance nor lack of charisma or realism. The interview last week was of a man under immense pressure,in usual circumstances looking from the outside i would have said he's nailed on to go soon, (it happened with McParland at Notts C who gave a similar interview after drawing with Tqy) but i am still shocked that RFChave bit the bullet, done it, and paid him off. That's the scandolous bit of it, come in, do a terrible job leave with loads of dosh. Only in football!

The next appointment of manager is absolutely critical for RFC.

Never saw eye to eye Brendan (mainly because I'm much taller than you :) ) but I do wish you well for the future.

best of luck rodgers

you had your faults but you tried your best, despite your one striker up front tactics and the unexplanable inclusion of bryn and jimmy in the first team i thought you were the first manager in a while who actually got us passing the ball and thinking. sadly most of the players you were left with/signed are utter rubbish and that was well beyond them!
if the truth be known, i dont think your any more to blame for our current position than anyone else.. you were picked by our inept board as you were the cheap second option and got punished for it. sadly whome ever replaces you will undoubtadly be worse, cheaper and have less of a budget (if any) than you had (not that thats relevant as we have less than two weeks before the january sales and therefor no time for anyone to assess the squad!)

best of luck rodgers...

Whoever he takes over will not be giving us a tonking any time soon.

He needs to go to a League 2/1 level club and cut his teeth properly before looking to win promotion to the Premiership. Get away from this world class model bollocks and start playing some proper football. Learn when to shut up. Stop living in dreamland.

Wrong ideas at the wrong level at the wrong club.

Get some experience and we'll see you in 4 or 5 years.

Football is a simple game made complicated by those who should know better.

Repeat that 100x every morning and you will become a much better football manager.

And burn the bloody manuel ffs, footballers don't understand what you are trying to do.

I don't have any ill will towards him, I wish him well in the future.

He could have been good if he had learnt the gritty realities at this level and not thought he was dealing with players at the level of his Chelsea mates.

I may be alone in this but I feel Rogers wasn't really to blame - its down to Hammond and his cheapskate negotiating for Tommy Smith. We would have had an experienced talented striker for £1.8m but Hammond lost the deal by trying to get him cut price.

I really do feel that if Hammond had not arsed about and we had signed Smith we would not be where we are and Rogers would still have a job.

Good luck Brendan - I am certain you put your heart into it and I hope you get another chance elsewhere.

The more you think about, the more you feel sorry for the chap and you think that the problem lies a lot deeper than what we have at the moment. I do wish Rodgers well, and hope he does get another chance. I do hope he tells us what happened behind the scenes. And learn chap not to have spats with reporters it doesnt do you any good nor the club

Shame really, his dream job, has roots in the club and I really wanted him to do well. Hope he does make it in management.

Maybe he may come back at one stage and work his way up in this club. Hopefully by that time, the chairman will no longer be part of the setup

The problem is too many of the players were just too thick to understand Brendan.

It's the problem all the great prophets face.

Now we can at last go on towards the Champions League with confidence.

I wish him the best of luck. Hope he won't just dwindle away, like other bumper-book-of-tactics whizz kids such as David Platt and Ian Dowie.

Yes, that's why Elijah spent several years in the old fourth division.

my tribute is thank oxf*rd you are gone,
Didnt want you, but at one point you made me think I was wrong and I started to believe, only for you and your team to disappoint again.
We took you after 6 months at Watford, now look how they are flying while selling most their top players, like us, and not having you in charge, looks like you held them back too.

I think you were giving the time to prove yourself, but you just spoke shite most of the time.

I do appreciate your work, as you did SEEM to love the job, but you really had no clue.

Best luck fot the future, Id advisor going back to a coach, not many coaches make good managers, and I think thats you in a nut shell
