When was the last time we made the QUARTER FINALS THOUGH?!?! It was definitely before 1998 and after 1927 (Semi finals) - can't find it anywhere though.

Say it quietly - Two wins from Wembley!!

No prem team as it's getting a trifle boring. It has to be away too.

Yes - because we have won the tie - albeit it by way of the opposition forfeiting the game.

For me a bottom half Prem side would be good. I don't think facing a lower league side would be good as they'll up their game, proved by us and others (Notts County, Palace, Southampton etc.). Also with potential of facing a relegation battle may be thinking about other things. Except maybe Pompey as the players are playing in the cup just so they can be paid so the further for them the better.

One of Bolton, Wolves, Wigan and possibly Fulham please.

Glad all of the far Northern teams are out - I guess Bolton and Leeds are the furthest trips left in the cup?

Tbf, they're all a bit shit now except Scunny (in the unlikely event that they beat Man City). Cardiff away please I suppose :-)

Bolton, Derby, Notts County / Wigan, Pompey or Stoke would all be ok.

Or Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea, Spurs or Man City for the big pay day.

Another home draw please, preferably with a 3pm kick off (or earlier) on a Saturday due my other commitments that weekend. For once - and for reasons stated above - I wouldn't mind a home game with a Championship side, excluding those asolute f*cktards from Cardiff. My ideal would be Southampton (and I would accept an away draw there); lower division side, local team, more than decent chance of progressing.

So I look forward to whichever irrelevant 'celebrity' is pulling the balls out of the bag giving us Bolton away

Home to s'ton, chance to progress, or home to Arsenal/Chelsea, both on the telly. Tho away games might make more dosh. So S'ton at home please. with chelsea playing Arsenal.

Pretty sure they will - I think the gate receipts in the FA Cup are split 45% to each team and 10% to the FA. So, 35K away at Chelsea > 24K at home to Chelsea (financially speaking).

If we get a game against Chelsea or Arsenal, it's almost certain ITV will move it to Feb 14th.

All those with plans for Valentine's day should bear that in mind....

Why not the 12:45 / 5:15 kickoffs on the Saturday?

My hope would be Chelsea if we get either of them. I don't think we've got a prayer against Arsenal.

The "prime" slots for ITV coverage are the Sunday ones.

The hopefully Chelsea will be drawn against Arsenal and Aston Villa against Man City - should sew up the two Sunday slots.

Personally, I don't like going to games on Sunday's (just doesn't have the atmosphere of a Saturday) so I'd happily forego a draw against one of the above for a Saturday game.

Fulham away at 12:45 looks more and more appealing!!!
