Schards#2
Barry the bird boggler Really crap draw for both clubs, about as exciting as an afternoon watching paint drying.

For the record I don't think we've won a 5th Round tie since 1929 or something, mind you we've only made the 5th Round about 4 times since then and that includes a 63 year gap between a 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal in 1935 and a 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United in 1998.

Now if we were to win the game then get the winners of Southampton or Portsmouth at home we'd have a real cup run on our hands and a chance of getting to Wembley, albeit only for a semi-final.

Still rather stuff WBA in the league though...

So you consider watching a game that, if we win, takes us further in the FA Cup than we've been in over 80 years "about as exciting an afternoon as watching paint dry"?

I doesn't matter who the opposition is, it's a big game.

I agree and we have a very decent chance of progressing. West Brom are hardly feckin Brazil

Ryn I was hoping for another Premiership side, preferably Chelsea, so we could get knocked out and concentrate on the league, but West Brom is good enough.

I can see your point there, but can i have a little more dreamland of the FA Cup please.

Really hope we beat the arrogant twats. Never liked West Brom, and I don't think they will dominate us at all.

Even though West Brom may not be the most exciting opposition to be drawn against i think we could manage a win, certainly if we play like we have in previous rounds. Winning may even show the team that they are capable of beating one of the best teams in our league atm. This is not only a big game for a chance to play at Wembley but also for our chances in the league!
