andrew1957 It was always possible that this season relegation would be affected by clubs going into administration.
Sir Mad's prudent policy well may be the making of us if we can just survive this season. Several PL clubs are likely to go down the tube in the next few years and the football authorities will have to clamp down on debt/high wages.

strap Payback time for all the shit we as fans have had to stomach this year, (Mr Mad's cloth cutting etc).

If we stay up due to our polyester policy can you imagine the cringeworthy speeches?
Frankly Leeds are going to take one of the promotion spots next season, the price of relegation to the second tier is not necessarily a disaster - Reading and Stoke in 98, QPR, Forest and Leicester now.
I think our vaunted youth team would do nicely down there.

what? are you an absolute and utter twat? yes - that was the strategy...to be successful..oh yes rely on all the other clubs to go bankrupt, whilst c*nting around selling off the team.
Wake up.

It's generally a good rule of thumb that the first person in a disagreement to resort to abuse has got the weaker arguments (or lower intelligence).
In a situation where a number of clubs are feeling the financial strain, there's surely nothing wrong with suggesting that it's a good thing that those who behave responsibly and take the pain early in order to stay afloat (and incidentally don't screw their creditors by going into administration), should benefit from that approach.
What would you do if you were running out of money? Get a new credit card?

Focher lets hope that Watford's financial woes re surface as well!
Palace will lose the likes of Ambrose and Moses, this can only be great news for us.

it is sad, and makes me appreciate us having a club that is run properly, and not slating the chairman constantly like some of the twats on here.

Hear hear! anyone who doubts SJM's love for Berkshire need only listen to his interviews on BBCRB. Ok, the cloth analogy is overdone but for us simple football folk, when liabilities are greater than assets and SJM equity, then we're Crystalised!

Terminal Boardom And a huge lol to anyone who thinks that this will save us. Like we will pick up more points than Palace between now and the end of the season.
