Ferris 0-0. Baggies win the replay and go on to win the cup and the league. We get relegated.

If it is anything like the game at their place earlier in the season, we are gonna get stuffed.

Looking back at that game, wasn't a lot of their best attacking play coming from thomas? Who was playing against cummings. Maybe with Griffin back there now that might not be such a weakness.

I don't know... I'm going to go for 1-1.

I am - rather naively - excited at the prospect of us witnessing a bit of history in reaching a first ever post-war FA Cup quarter final. Ergo, 0-2 loss.

I think we'll either manage to get a draw, only to be well beaten in the replay - OR we'll get well beaten at home, and Simon Cox will probably score at least one goal against us.

(If I say this, we *should* win about 2-0 - as my predictions are rubbish lately)

I was hoping for a draw before last week. I'd have got two nights in a hotel with my then gf on work.

Now I'm thinking a loss might be better, because we can't just keep winning. Better to lose in the cup than the league. And I don't want Newcastle to be moved AGAIN. It's a good excuse to see family for my birthday too.

I want us to win in the cup and the league - and I hope the players and Bri feel that way too!

Only one Trevor Morley scrappy 1-0 victory and then overreaction overload on HNA followed by Chelsea away and back to reality in QFs.

What would constitute an overreaction to reaching our first FA Cup quarter-final in living memory, having beaten two Premiership teams and the Championship leaders? :|

I think everyone associated with us does. But there is also reality to consider. Two games ago we hadn't won two on the bounce all season, now we're hoping for four? five? six? all of them?

I feel exactly the same way. Aside from the part that I removed where you predicted we would lose.

And why not Ian? Going all out to try and win on Saturday is far better for the players mentally - and as was proven against Liverpool and Burnley, it's been a springboard for better results in the league.

I don't think you understand RL.

Who said anything about not trying to win? You try to win every game. Of course we're going to try to win. I'd just rather the loss we're due came against West Brom than Palace, Blackpool, Newcastle or Wednesday.

Realistically we aren't going to win all the next 3/4 games. So, lose to West Brom then do another run of three! :D

It wasn't realistic to expect us to win three in a row until we did. Bring on fantasy and dreams of making it to the next round. Reality is overrated.

Wasn't too unrealistic given our improval under McDermott and the quality of opposition.

Thomas is suspended, so that rules out that problem.
