RoyalBird I remember recalling a Preston player (can't remember who) scoring with a great shot when we beat them at home 5-1. Anyone else recall it? Think it was in the 2002/3 season, nearly all of the reading fans applauded it.

The victory was sealed for the home side not long into the second half when the pacey Partridge doubled the lead with a superb solo goal for Coventry. After getting hold of the ball inside his own half he went on a run straight for goal twisting past a series of Reading players with apparent ease before burying the ball into the back of the net to make it 0-2.

Big Foot It wasn't Etuhu who scored, but that night he put in a bloody good shift. I remember coming away from the ground thinking we should sign him.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Gonna pluck another name out of the air, but Chris Kinett (no idea if the is the correct spelling), left winger, possibley French, playing for Milwall against us when Pards was in charge a few times, seem to remember him scoring a cracker cutting in from the left.
