Interestingly enough, Shaun Cummings has not featured since Rodgers left and our Brian took control. He was named as an unused substitute way back in December in the home game against Swansea. With McDermott's record of getting more out of most players so far, perhaps Shaun is due a start to show what he can do under the new regime. More than likely though, I'd expect Khizanishvili to start at right-back with Mills and Ivar in the middle.

Oh buggeration! Looks like Bryn will start there then, if fit! Other than that we are looking short of options. Perhaps Tabb at right-back and a recall for Karacan?

Well If griffin is having a scan this week he won't be training and won't be available. Depending on how serious he could be out for the season or 3 weeks. Look at Owen when he went off in the final, he didn't look in agony and strolled off. Now, he's out for the season!!
Doubt Brynarr will play, especially against blistering pace. Wouldn't be surprised to see Davies or Karacan at Right back.

Karacan has a broken hand so could be doubtful.

Davies is a good shout actually.

I hope Griffin is fit, but I doubt he will be and I wouldn't want him back too soon in any case.

Thomas L'Heureux
size 12 Just seen on the injuries and bans section of the OS that Griffin has a hamstring injury that will be scanned this week. Does anyone have any further details about this? Major RB worry for Sunday, especially with Bryn struggling also

Either way, one of those two will get torn apart by Ashley Young. He could probably beat them in a race with his boot-laces tied together.

So not Stewart Downing, who's been playing at left wing recently.....

There's more chance of hell freezing over than either of these two playing right back ahead of Gunnarsson.
