As is the head of the Royal Mail - although frankly you would think that that being the case my mail would turn up in the morning, rather than sometime in the afternoon, but there you go.

There were some great 210 days.

The renaissance of David 'Diddy' Hamilton is something I'll never forget.

I'm also certain Steve Beddow had something to do with a chopper.

I also remember that double-helmet helping of Read and Wright.

Didn't Beddow also do BBCRB? was he one of the 3 that walked to Wembley in 95?

Tony Le Mesmer I have fond memories as a kid hovering by the Radio for Steve Beddow's 15 mins updates on Radio 210.

3.15, 3.30, 3.45, 4.15, 4.30 and FT. They always seemed to join him just as we conceeded mind!

We lost every game 6-0 ?

Greatest April fool in the late 80s, waking up at 8 am in the morning to discover from Steve Beddow's reports that Reading v Swansea had been brought forward to a 7am start so that the emergency services could use EP for some practice exercises later in the day.

Think we drew 1-1
