I thought the Feds had a fantatstic game and we were very fortunate not to have been beaten. As good as Feds was, the referee was as bad. The non sending off, and the booking of Siggy were the two most blatant failures amongst a whole catalogue of shite.

I thought the difference between the teams was just one of desire to win. I think we looked good and were a class above them, but they were fighting and that was the difference. A good game overall I thought. And I may be a jinx but that was the first point I have seen us collect this season!

royalexile No but three points are.

It was two. We gained one, remember.

(So, if we'd been 2-0 down with 8 minutes to go and had come back to draw 2-2 the fans would have booed because of "the lost chance of the play-offs"? Don't think so.)

We lost the advantage not gained an advantage from coming from behind. Your comment makes no sense what so ever.

royalexile I'm not sure if the booing was at the ref, the lost outside chance of the playoffs or some other unknown factor :?

I was saying Booo-urns

BenReadingFC I got both of our goals on my camera. I'll post a link when I get home from work.

Have you got any pics of Brian and Khizanishvili braving the pitch invasion to come over and thank us? K looked totally bemused when some Ironites wanted to shake his hand.

Thought the booing was a bit off. Even if directed at the ref its open to misinterpretation by the team in a situation where we have just conceded a 2 goal lead.

Exactly. That's why booing "because we threw away a 2-goal lead with only 8 mins to go" may well be separate to that about "the lost outside chance of the playoffs".
royalexile Your comment makes no sense what so ever to me.
I can see that.

I did take a few pics but they came out blurred.
This 1 being the best, Brian and either Zorab or Griffin in the left of the pic
