Shame really as i liked popping down to watch the stiffs three or four times a season, something which i doubt i'll be able to do now.

Guess we'll have to hope for a home draw in the youth cup to have any chance of seeing the potential stars of tomorrow next season :(

Also enjoyed the occasional reserve game, cant believe that there is no decent level for them to play at, and in a league of some type .

I'm surprised that the Football League doesn't follow the PL example and have a reserve league based on the division (esp for the CCC).

Split the 24 teams in to 3 groups of 8.
Play home and away

Winners of each group plus best runner up go through to semi finals/final to crown a champion.

It maybe because they have more respect for the existing reserve leagues than the Premier League ever did.

It might also be the geographical groupings being a bit of a headache and the costs involved being a bit off putting for some clubs?
