Norfolk Royal Norwich fancy 'a little raid' on Reading for Long and Kebe apparently. The cheek of it!

Well if we don't go up and they do, that wouldn't surprise me at all. Holt and Long in the Prem? I'd take that for us.

Maybe if we beat them to promotion we should fancy "a little raid" on them for Holt and Hoolahan

Let's call their bluff. They owe some £40M to the bank, is that not so? Or was it almost up to £50M now?
So, how on earth can they manage that debt, and pay us the £15M we'd want for Long and Kebe?

Good luck naarge.

In Feb it was £43M.

What planet are you on? We'll do well to get £5m for Long and £3m for Kebe.

But it will have been agreed with the players that any offer over a certain amount will be put to them.

And a player who doesn't want to play for a team and is being denied a move they want is worst then useless. (If you want a witness to this, I give you N Shorey).

I knew someone would try and through Sidwell, back, so I'm ready. He wanted to be allowed to leave but there had been no offers for him. So he wasn't being denied a specific move to someone else - he was being denied the chance to be made available, which is quite different because it meant he still had incentive to play well.

Wolves link mentioned here today:

Probably just picking up on the fact that McCarthy was at the game the other day, but it's still a bit :(

Best we get promoted, I reckon.

If Wolves stay up and we don't go up Long will go to Wolves.

If either don't happen he won't.

End of!

If wolves go down and we go up, we should move in for Doyle.

I like the idea of Wolves coming down for three reasons:

1) Long doesn't go there
2) Doyle either comes home, or goes to a team who deserve him (I can see him at Everton for some reason)
3) Shunt gets relegated to the Championship for the third time in four years and realises that perhaps he isn't the new Ronaldo......

Awesome. BUT. Would he be a bit expensive wage-wise?

Ideal Even if hunt gets relegated again, he's still been one of their best players.
It is not Doyle and Hunt that are the problem in that team.
It's just the rest of the players are total gash, they're so anonymous you'd struggle to pick them out in a room full of accountants.

So Jarvis has been anonymous, so much so he gets a England call up, Hunt has hardley played for them as he is always injured.

Mancienne seems to have had a good season from the little I've paid attention too.

If the wolves players are really so outstanding like some people on here seem to be saying, then why are they in the bottom 3? :|

No one's saying they are outstanding... but England calls up's speak for them selves! He must of been doing something right!
