Petersfield Royal It's not only the Millwall fans that still live in the 80's. Some of our fans leaving the stadium were openly boasting about having a baboon up front. How many other fans were/are uneasy about chants of "Beast" when one of the best goals scored for a long time went in?

WTF? Beast is in no way racist!! :|

FiNeRaIn Kebe's come on a long way from the days he would slice them out pretty regularly for a goal kick, however lets not get carried away. What I saw yesterday was a good few solid/decent balls into danger areas within the penalty area, however, what he doesn't do is pick people out which is what the top wingers in this division will do, get their heads up and execute good crosses....kind of like henry did yesterday with hendersons header.

But
Mathieu Manset on the OS "I worked it with Jimmy in training for the second goal.... I scored yes but if Jimmy didn't give me a good cross I wouldn't score...

Looks like our French speakers are building up an understanding. Long may it prosper.
FWIW I thought Kebe put in some superb crosses on Saturday, but the forwards weren't on the correct wavelength to anticipate the delivery until Hunt went off and Manset arrived.

Missed the game. Saw the goals on FLS last night; woeful defending for the first, nothing ball lofted into the box and Henderson unmarked 6 yards out. Useless goalkeeping for the second, totally avoidable goal. Nice work by Manset.

Just seen the highlights. Who is our new goalkeeper? He looks fecking useless. Huge lump into the 6 yard box for their first. Any half decent keeper would have come for that. As for the second, the last time I saw a flap that big was in the red light district in Amsterdam.

Reminiscent of Kitson / Doyle and Little. Ball dinked into a gap between keeper and defenders, striker powers into it for a free header.

That's what we want. Balls in to specific points that strikers know it's going and can attack.
