Including 5live predictions on a Friday and those on the website, plus match of the day ( 1 and 2). As an "expert" I would expect him to know his job.

You would have to be deluded to be convinced we'll stay up. However, anyone who knows about Reading would be as impressed as you were with the performance against Newcastle and in particular how much of an improvement it was. If your job was to know about Premier League teams, you might make note of that in your brief comments.

Obviously he didn't help himself with his predictions in our first season in the PL but what is he supposed to do, change his opinion because Reading fans are getting upset?

Probably because we've seen these same deficiencies most season, but still seen us play well above what they'd cause you to normally expect.
