£1m for a player who can't even get in the starting line up of one of the worst teams in Prem history, sounds about right to me.

moonwalklikebas Why does everybody rimjob him so much.

Last Tuesday Pog was working tirelessly, got into some good positions, held the ball up well and ran his socks off. Yet gets sarcastically cheered when the little egotistical fatboy comes on. Who for half an hour did oxf*rd all and had only 5 touches of the ball.

When he starts in games he goes missing, yes he can score goals, there is no doubting his finishing but he's just not as a good as everyone states. Singing his name in the 50th minute like schoolgirls chanting one direction. Like one direction he is very much overhyped!

You shall suffer the wrath of the gods my friend.

Lot of hype for Alf on Twitter tonight - Fulham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Villa, Norwich, Sunderland and other PL fans suggesting they snap him up, as well as the obvious deluded Leeds, Brighton and surprisingly Birmingham contingent. This is my favourite:
Joseph Bramley ‏@JoeBramley 33m
I would be Le fondest of Le Fondre at Le icester.

Let him tear the Championship up or cash in while there's plenty of interest?

Completely missing the point. Le Fondre is a 4-4-2 Striker there is no contesting that. Last year Hunt/Roberts were the partnership and we were winning so why change it.
In the PL you just cannot play 4-4-2 or you will get munched every week.

Le Fondre will be able to play 4-4-2 next year and smash it in the Champ. I've always said his only problem is he never drops short to get the ball and influence the match in that manner. He only seems to make channel runs. With his first touch I'm sure he could get involved in link play more often.

Considering Rotherham have a sell on clause on ALF, i doubt the club would accept £1m for him.....

Seriously? £1m  With Nick Hammond in charge of negotiations? The man who got millions for a broken Kitson and Sonko, for Shorey, Doyle, Hunt, Mills, Bikey et al? When we needed the money?
No chance.

He smashed it last time round when he didn't score in 24 appearances. I just don't think his performances merit the amount of applause he gets! That's all Im saying.

£1m is ridiculous when Doyle and Kitson went for £5m plus and had a similar return at this level (and from more minutes per goal as well).

I can't see us selling him anyway. Not now Hunt, Church, Pogrebnyak and Roberts are likely to be gone come August.

He won't go, Pog and Hunt going means it is unlikely Alf will go as well which I am glad about

Hunt, Pog, Church and by some reports Jrob moving on leaves us with Alf and Blackman. There is no way ALF is going, we wouldn't have let the others go if he hadn't committed himself for next season (I hope).

Doyle and Kitson had long records of scoring at Championship level. But I agree, £1m is too low.

He was paired with Church in a team that was instantly shut down the second you doubled up on the wingers. If he'd got the nod to partner Roberts instead of Hunt, I think he'd have filled his boots.

Two seasons? Or more accurately one and a half seeing as Doyle pretty much stopped scoring after Xmas in Coppell's last season.

How crappy would it be if he did actually go there after all?

Its laughable some of the rumours which are created. I'm sure Alf was quoted in saying that Brian's tactics were basically shit.
