RedRum @ReadingFC: Reading team v Swansea: McCarthy, Bridge, Kelly, Pearce, Morrison, Karacan, Guthrie, Robson-Kanu, McAnuff (C), Drenthe, Le Fondre #readingfc

@ReadingFC: #readingfc subs: Federici, Gunter, Mariappa, Pogrebnyak, McCleary, Akpan, Gorkss, Cummings, Taylor, Ugwu, Obita, D'Ath

No Williams, Blackman or Kebe - assume they're all injured..? Otherwise looks like a first XI to me.
Alot of youngsters on that bench too - good sign

Kebe injured?..your kidding me surely???

I am guessing not. NA said everyone would be playing in one game or the other this weekend. But if he isn't in the line-up for tomorrow's game, well... :?

Half time update
Period of 18 mins before Drenthe touched the ball again. Needs to get involved more rather than sticking to touch line by the dug out.

Kanu is not our attacking midfield option. Not good enough to spot and release Le Fondre.

Great saves from McCarthy to bail himself out of own distribution howlers. Bridge and Kelly solid.

Swansea are as expected a brilliant footballing team. Probably their starting line up out here. We are in the game but just no cutting edge up front.

Drenthe was pretty average against Bristol City, so no real surprise there.

53' Great chance for Reading as Hope Akpan has a free header inside the box but he heads over

We still need that CAM and Striker.

We lacked those two positions last year and it will probably happen again.

I know we are playing PL opposition and a defeat was always on cards, but the signs are worrying

I think they are a perfect team for us to play - will remind everyone at the club about how you need to invest to grow as a club.
