The Ferdinands join the Webbs at the top of the 'number of family members at RFC' league.

He was previously signed on at Police United (or whatever they're called) and any transfer between clubs under different national FA's has to get international clearance before they're eligable to play.

ZacNaloen Wasn't that Stephen Ireland?

Yeah.

Anton's bad rep comes from the time that he fell out with his teammates because they were constantly ripping the shit out of him for wearing an awful toupee.

So many idiotic kids making comments on twitter including his @

How oxf*rd rude you bunch of cocks. Your bio reads Reading til I die innit yet you slag off a player before he's even played with us.

A player who's had over 200 games in the prem. A player who's coming in to compete with two players who dropped us 2 points the very last game. A player who's going to read your idiotic shit.

oxf*rd rattled.

Is that why the move didn't go through: misspelling of the team name on the paperwork?

Ah, Dave! There goes the whole aura of your 'Mystic Dave' image. Looks like it's back to asking 'Would you like Fries with that?'

The way our defence was on the weekend, he can't do any worse.

Think this potentially could be our best signing of the season.

He's got a huge amount to prove...lets see if his desire matches his ability

Welcome Anton. Good signing IMO. Back to the old way of cheap players with points to prove. No problem with that.

Will happily admit that I'm not overly pleased by this but that my view is almost entirely irrational. Partly for the West Ham & QPR links, partly for who is brother is and mostly because I just don't like his face.

My only genuine concern is if this has been forced on Adkins by the Thais. Oh yeah, and he hasn't really played for ages and is obviously on the decline or he'd still be playing in the Prem.

Agreed, if he's even half as comfortable on the ball as his brother then he's just what we need and at 29 (I thought he was older) should be in his prime

Although I do associate him with being injury prone, can't back that up so please could any stato's put that one to bed

PS lol at the one who mustn't be quoted, although I'm sort of going to, saying "good signing" only a couple of pages after stating "not coming and not needed"
