Fans were great last night, given the weather and the progress of the game. I didn't notice boos for Alfie, but for Morro definitely.

Can someone confirm Kelly was at RB and how he did please?

How did we switch things with Pearce's sending off? Gunter to CB and Obita back to LB, I presume?

For a game we went behind in and were 2-0 and ten men down in by HT I'm pleased we didn't collapse and concede loads. The stats look fairly even, and positive we fought a goal back even though we lost again.

P!ssed Off Anyone saying 'Pearce this, Pearce that' can oxf*rd right off.

The ball shouldn't be hitting anyone on the foot at the back post. If you want to hand out blame to individual players then the 1st goal is on Danny Williams for missing his header.

For the 2nd goal Michael Hector has been absolutely done by a long ball. I've said all season he's oxf*rd useless at judging the flight of a ball/getting himself in position.

Certainly Pearce has not coped well in either situation, but he's found himself in serious danger due to the team's inept defending.

The team has defended terribly all season. That's the manager's fault.
If we can't defend oxf*rd corners, then that is the manager's fault.
If there is nobody on the posts at a corner, one can only assume that is the manager's decision.
The manager and coaching staff ought to have taught Hector not to get done by long balls by now.

Hector 1
Morrison 0

That's the real quiz

The stats are only even because we completely dominated them 11 vs 11. Yep, Gunter LB, Kelly RB and that's what happened.

Good reaction in the second half after a terrible first. We were very lucky Cardiff's finishing was so terrible we could easily have been 3 or 4 down before half time. Could also have been down to 9 men, I don't think Williams went to hit him but it could have easily been taken that way, and Pearce was utterly atrocious to pull a player down where he was and as the last man. Hope he doesn't get straight back into the squad when he is back. Atmosphere was decent though.

Apart from the pathetic defending for the goals I thought we were pretty good in the 1st half. All a bit superficial but not too bad really.

Mind you , I've pretty much wiped the game from my memory now and am not watching it again to check!

Cheers chaps.

Interesting to see one person describe the first half performance as 'terrible', someone else say we 'dominated' them and a third say apart from the goals it was 'pretty good'.

HNA, definitely the place to go to find out how we played.

To go in 2-0 down at HT, to a fairly crap side you've dominated for 45 minutes, is pretty terrible if you ask me.

As for your earlier post about being "pleased we didn't collapse and concede loads", this was one of the most self-inflicted defeats in months, so that's a bizarre comment.

As for your earlier post about "fighting" a goal back, don't think we did much other than the goal, which consisted of their keeper fumbling the ball through his legs - hardly much to be proud about there.

Over all, the contest appeared to be a scrap between two poor teams. Let's face it all 3 goals should really be credited as own goals, and bar those three moments of calamity defending, it was a bore 0-0.

Cardiff away to Watford, and Reading away to Norwich, next weekend. After Friday's game any observer should feel pretty confident in sticking the mortgage on two home wins.

Depends on whether you're talking about overall performance, result or a general resilience. Besides, I'm just pointing out how three different people who saw the game have conflicting views on how we played. Clearly going to the game doesn't mean someone can be relied upon to give a decent view of how we did.
