Great, we should be able to get another 43.2 points out of our remaining 45 league games which will be enough to stay up providing that there's somehow three worse teams in the division. After all, making sure we're only slightly less shit than 3 other teams and hoping for the best seemed a successful strategy last season, Clarke has probably adopted it again this time around.

FYI moaners - Clarke said on BBCRB he had picked a taker pre-game & it was Sa. So actually Cox should have fcuked off & let him get on with it instead of putting extra pressure on it.

Might also explain why Sa was so annoyed at FT.

Whilst that is true, it's a very different club to the one that finished last season. New sponsorship deals, whole new backroom staff, new players and more to come.

Can't ignore that stat of course, but give Clarke until the end of October. I don't think it's fair to judge this season on last season's disappointments, when he's still got three weeks left to obtain the players we need.

Yes yes Clarke definitely to blame for Saturday.

20 shots on goal away from home, a pen miss & a goal not given despite some key players missing. Fcuking hell people. Do you realise how demented you sound?

Get a fcuking grip you bunch of fannies. Decent enough start. On to the next one now.

SC also said that Sa wouldn't be taking the next one, so he was clearly very cross about it. Not great for Sa's confidence when we need him to be scoring goals for us. So presumably Blackman remains nominated penalty taker and then Cox? Or Pog when fit? Or does Pog then jump above Blackman? Blackman does seem to be in great form at the moment, so lets hope we can keep him injury free and he has a great season with his cheerful hairdo.

Are you suggesting that Waitrose were holding us back?

Very unlucky. Why does the Championship not have the goal line technology? I assume its a finance issue.

Nameless
yuomi
Nameless Just another example of stats and football not working.
Dribble little shot at the keeper = shot on target, everyone wets themselves
Cracking shot against the woodwork with the keeper beaten = not a stat therefore ignored

It IS a stat. It's called a shot off target. I feel like you're struggling with this concept...

Challenging rather than struggling.....

In terms of reflecting the game a shot against the woodwork is more significant than a weak shot straight at the keeper and a world of difference to a shot lasted 20 yards wide. Of course the artificial stats invented by Sky roll them all up into the same thing, but that reflects the weakness of trying to measure a game in numbers....other than goals!!
Personal opinion. Nothing more !!

I think it's what Snowball refers to as a "half shot on target"

easily remedied by giving an extra stat for woodwork incidents

Pepe the Horseman If it wasn't for a shit call by the lino Tshibola would've won us a point. Never seen Hector hit a shot like that.

Why does Orlando Sa have his whole name on the shirt and not just "SA"?
