Pearson seems to tick most of the boxes -Saints fans down here liked him (not necessarily a great reference bearing in mind the previous Nigel).
Parky-why not?
As with Pearson you would expect their sides to reflect the manager,aggressive, hard-working, long ball etc. but neither Bradford nor Leicester or Saints have played that way under their management.
Viveash as mentioned by a couple of others?
I'm not sure that managing U21 sides and bringing on youngsters is great preparation for managing a Championship club with the expectations that go with it-it's probably better for them to start lower down.
It would be interesting to know why Clarke has made a sideways move-presumably it's more money for him and/or a bigger budget for transfers.
Although some have said he was well backed in the transfer market wasn't it fairly evenly balanced with biggest earners moving on and the Hector money being used to fund what we have now got?
Clarke will turn out to be one of the shortest-serving managers of our club and his time will probably be soon forgotten.
