Handsome Man
Flyingkiwi Had my photo in the EP being presented with a certificate by Maurice Evans on the pitch at Elm Park before a game Vs Mansfield Town in about 1980 because the six-a-side team I was captain of came divisional runners up.

One of the player in that team then went on to play for the reserve squad.

I like to think it was my influence. 8)

I had my photo in the paper when Maurice Evans presented me with a certificate for winning our 5-a-side league. My team pissed all over the team with the future Reading reserve.

5-a-side???

I thought it was 6.

Which "division"?

Two EP snaps. One front page for the signing in WHSmiths of the 96/97 Yearbook. I'm trying to hide at the back because I'd taken an extended lunch from working at the IB. However, it was noticed by my work colleagues and was plastered all over the boards the next day. Still got the book and got to meet Dariusz so it was all good (and Archie - cocky twat). The back page shot was for the 1-6 Palace pitch invasion protest

Miss NSML! used to work with Mark White at RBH. Boring by all accounts.

I went to school with Ron Grants assistant and saw him play at Bromley a couple of seasons back. He also sorted out Miss NSML! with a signed Kingsley photo when he used to do that and she had an abnormal crush on the old suit (not the new one).

I was in the same year as Derek Simpson and in his English class. I think he was on the books for 96/97 but never made an appearance. We used to copy the class swots homework at the back together. *no homo*

CSB etc etc

Dave Moreline coached the football team I used to play for.
Was fourth official several times at Elm Park in the 80's.

Played against Steve Hetzke for my school footie team. Went to the same school as Denis Butler.

1) Stuart Morgan bought me a pint in the pub after Fulham away on 4th April 1970 (featured in "Reading Til I Die")

2) I was one of the fans who put questions to Robert Maxwell on Radio Oxford about the proposed merger in 1983.

3) Mick gooding once sold me some tickets when the ticket office at Elm Park was unmanned.

Mark McGhee handed over some statistical research for my A level maths coursework to me (collated by David Downs) because the office receptionist was at lunch.....

My picture is in a programme from the 1991 season.

I appeared on Endsliegh League Extra when Reading were home to Grimbsy and it was the featured game. I am behind, then walk past Gabriel Clarke with my m8.

I have played in the same team as Kevin Dillon, Steve Keen, Stuart Beavon (and Jnr) as well as knowing various other players (no name dropping though)

I have also had a sexual encounter with a now ex manager/players wife. (Before she was married to him).

Phil Parkinson's offspring went to the same creche as the son of my step brother and they knew each other quite well while playing for the mighty Royals.

I once hid from Jimmy Quinn in Debenhams as I was completely dumb struck.

Was on the front page of the evening post on New Year's eve after being wrongfully arrested at Hull.

Have been in The Daily Mirror, Reading Post, Reading programme etc for celebrating goals. 2 x Fans Verdict. Mum nearly ran over Jimmy Quinn on way to dropping me off at Battle Primary school as a kid. 8)

Mike Dixon once reffed our local league game as a stand-in when the regular guy failed to turn up.

I've just remembered - Schards hugged JM in hospitality after a game once.

Spoke to Steve Coppell on the morning of the Derby away game which sealed our relegation. We told him that no matter what he decided to do in the future, he'd still be the best manager we've ever had, in our eyes. He shook our hands and said thank you.

I wanted to snog him but Schards dragged me away.

I watched England Vs Argentina in the 86 World Cup with Roger Smee at his parents house.

Also grew up in the same street as Michael Barnes.

So you're to blame

If I'd snogged him, we might have won 15-0 or something.

Our room was opposite Hunty/Longy/Doyle and Lita - they were nice chaps.

Saw Glen Little by the indoor pool - he confirmed he was too injured to play and had no idea when he'd be back. I also loved Glen Little.

That's impossible, HNA regulars have told us Lita was a complete c*nt. I'm surprised he didn't bottle you.

Shared a lift with JM at the hotel - he looked like he had been having a heavy night with Cilla. I got a bit emotional when I shook his hand and thanked him for what he had done for our club.

I was on the left side of the bank at EP.

I met Dave Kitson at the hotel when he re-signed for us and totally blanked him thinking FFS that bloke looks familiar - who is he?

I had a stand up row with the only Walsall supporter in Fuerteventura during the play offs - smug little tosser.
