Okay, the game plays today.
I dunno if i've posted here or not, but this is the team I think we'll get:

USA; Rosenior, Armstrong, Pearce, Ingi; Kebe, Harper(C), Karacan, Shunt; Nhunt Doyle.

If Karacan doesn't start, expect him on the bench. Likewise with Pearcey. I'm hoping Henry comes on the bench, too.

My ideal team would be..

USA
Rosenior--Bikey--Pearce--Armstrong
Kebe--Harper--Cisse/Karacan(Assuming Matejovsky is not fit)--S Hunt
Doyle--N Hunt

I reckon

Marcus

Rosenior
Pearce
Ivar
Armstrong

Kebe
Harper
Cisse
S Hunt

Doyle
N Hunt

That's what I expect, not necessarily want. Would be good to see how N Huny and Doyle get on up front though, hope it happens.

Happy that Pearce, Karacan and Armstrong are starting - not so happy to see Noel Hunt on the bench. I hope Hunt comes on if the two front-runners fire blanks and play cr*p.

Does Lita's non-inclusion (not even on the bench) suggest that Coppell is going to off-load him?

Eh? Who else is up front with Doyle? Mooney or Long?

Long and Doyle the issue for me, but they tend to work reasonably well together, so given I've got everything else I wanted I'll be satisfied to see what happens.

BR2
The central defence now looks interesting.
At the end of last season we had:-
Sonko
Ivar
Duberry
Pearce
Bikey
Sodje
Bennett
Brown and at a push Bryn or Cisse.
Now we seem to have:-
Ivar
Duberry
Pearce
Bikey and at a push Bryn or Cisse.

Ivar looks slower than ever
Duberry seems to be injured a lot
Bikey supposedly doesn't want to play for us
Pearce is a novice
Bryn is like Duberry and Cisse can't head a ball.

Everybody is pushing for Pearce to play and I think he has to but let's not expect too much of him too quickly.

We still have Sodje and Bennett you know... in fact they're more likely to play now, they're both alright at this level.
