Ian Royal So Marek and Gunnarsson dominate against 10 men who are torn to shreds by his creativity.

LOL. Can't really comment when you weren't there IR.

Never stopped me before, I have a passable view of the game from commentary. Kind of hard to argue we dominated given the game, but I will be happy to hear the views of those who went and whether Marek was as dominant and all winning as the Harper knockers thought he would be.

And you?

To RL of course I agree - simply interested in the dominance of the division by us, Brum and Wolves.

I was there.

Ian Royal Doyle could do with finding the net again, he's dried up for the moment.

3 games without scoring, one of which we played an hour with 10 men? I think you're being a might harsh.

Is it only 3? feels longer.

Still he's set the standard, it's not my fault he can't live up to it.

One of the three is going to be severely disappointed come May. It's about time we got some luck - I'd like to see Wolves come third about 10 points ahead of 4th and lose in the play offs.

I was there. TBH I thought we missed the energy of Harper, Bryn simply wasn't up to it. Marek played well in patches, a number of sumptuous balls, but he was sometimes guilty of trying too much.

I still think Harps and Marek as a pairing would work, but what do I know.

At the game and straight on HNA before he can have left the ground? That's a bit tragic.

Another stat to show the "big three"'s dominance. From 24th to 4th the biggest gap between teams in points is 2. It is 6 between us and fourth.

I'm starting to get worried. Wolves are going to need a hell of a blip to fall out of the top 2 IMO. Brum aren't pretty, but they've got a great defensive record and grind out those wins.

2 losses and a draw aint really a 'hell of a blip'.

All we can do is keep winning. Just seen the "highlights" of the Plymouth game. How they didn't score only God knows. If their luck is going to run out I would rather it's against us than any other team.

I'd also like to add that we have only let in 2 more than Brum and have the third = best defensive record in the division. On the other hand we have scored 14 more than them.

And Kevin Phillips didn't score this evening. He'll be low on confidence come the 20th!

Especially as they've still got to come to Reading and go to Birmingham.

Nevertheless, it looks to me like we're most likely to be fighting it out with Brum for 2nd.

It'll take more than that. Mathmatically it might not, realistically it will.

We need Preston to get something against Brum on Sat and then to beat Norwich.

A 2 point gap going into the Brum game would make the game have a lot less pressure on it.

If we win both we'll be 4 points behind Wolves and 1 behind Brum but I know what you mean.

Personally I don't give a tinkers cuss about the Championship. Promotion is the ultimate aim and the ideal way is to finish in teither of the top two places. If we have to go up by going to Wembley and scoring a penalty in the final minute for a challenge outside the area then so be it.

These are the games we need to win. THe ones where we play badly. Playing badly and winning is promotion style football. Birmingham do it all the time and keep getting away with it
