Well played Reading. That was as good a preformance (Cisse bloop aside) I've seen this season.

Certainly neither dull nor uninspiring.

Have to be Doyle for MoM but James Henry played well and impressed with Armstrong too (first time I've seen him). :)

Pretty comprehensive in the end cock-up aside, pretty ironic that the two players at fault for their goal were the two best players on the park for the other 89 minutes. I must say that having seen Birmingham play Wolves recently I thought they'd be a sterner test, but for me they lack cutting edge up front and youth in midfield.

I think promotion's pretty much assured having assessed the league and I overestimated it at the start of the season. However, the same gaps will re-emerge next year in the Premiership if Coppell fails to learn from his mistakes - Harper's still not up to it, we're short of a striker, a winger and a full-back for the top flight.

He is shocking to be fair, reminds me of Keown when we had him - utterly past it.

Just so pleased with result.
Doyle deserved MOTM.
Cisse was great today (apart from that mistake)
James henry and Stephen Hunt did well on the wings as well.

Lots of good performances but probably Doyle or Cisse for MotM. Agree with what others have said but would add a special mention to the CB's, who on the whole dominated, and it was really the defense that set us apart. Henry did well and rose to the challange and had some good link up play with Rosie, same goes for Armstrong who (like Kiwi) I haven't really had a chance to see yet.

Awesome game. Played them off the park. Harper and Cisse owned their strong midfield. Doyle was superb - definitely MOTM.

Also a word for James Henry, did very well considering only his 2nd league start.

Great result - Great performance - We're looking very very solid at the back, and through the middle....

Thought McLeishs team selection played into our hands a bit fielding Mcfadden & Larrsen who were both back from injury and looked way off the pace...

Merry Christmas indeed!

that'll do nicely  Didn't look like 2nd vs. 3rd that! Henry looked more than decent I thought.

Twelve men of the match today - that was a tremendous performance by all of them

I felt a bit sorry for Cisse having to hand the champagne to Doyle - he thought he had won it and I would probably agree.
