USA has been decent but not really an upgrade on Fedders IMO

I thought USA was recognised as a significant part of Wolves staying up - pretty much played every game since Christmas.

Without a doubt. He is still a million miles better than Federici.

Really? I don't mean that in a WTF tone :D just pondering the question. I think Fed's pulled off some great saves this year and his distrubution has been good as well. I'm not saying USA has been bad and he's been a good Premiership keeper but I honestly don't see what makes him an upgrade.

I don't know about that, but he was always much better than Wayne Hennessey

If it annoys to the point that you have to post your annoyance then I'm sure everyone will respect your wishes, just as they respect you and start calling him Marcus Hahnemann or however you spell it.

It doesn't sound like that though, expecially when USA says it in a thick Seattle accent

Wasn't writing it as you pronounce it, I was breaking it up into easily spelt parts of the name (i.e. easier to remember how to spell it).

Wimb You know, looking back on that list it's hard to argue with any of the decisions the club took over the summer in relation to the players they let go.

Out of all those that were released none have set the world alight. USA has been decent but not really an upgrade on Fedders IMO, Doobs got released by a team reLOLagated from L1, Lita has been poor, he scored less then bloody Rasiak this season :|

Murts has been crocked all year, Golbourne hasn't been doing amazingly even in L1, I've hardly heard of anything Little's done with Sheff Utd and Kitson's had a paddy or 2 this year back at Stoke.

Harper's been average at a team who finished 1 place above us in the league and Rosie was out of the team by the time we played up at Ipswich a few weeks ago.

Of those we sold, Bikey again can't even get into a doomed team, Shunt's missed half a season with injury and it's only really Doyle that's fully delivered on his price tag.

Funilly enough the only guy who I think we cocked up on was Dan Harding, as given Armstrong's injury nightmares it would have been good to have some competition for Berty, but even then Berty > Harding.

Good post.

I think Hahnemann is a better keeper than Feds, although I don't think there is much in it. But was it a good decision to let Marcus go? Definitely, in my opinion. We'll have saved a lot in wages, and were giving a young keeper with plenty of potential his chance, who ultimately may prove in time, to be a better keeper.

So in hindsight, big LOL at those who were criticising the OP. Slammed, royalee, spizz, etc

Bikey has been shocking for the worst team in the prem and Matejovsky can't get in the team under the THIRD different manager he's had at reading.

The LOLS are on you.

As I said in recently in another thread, of the players who have left in recent times, only Sidwell, Doyle and Marcus would get in our current team and that says everything about how poor a job Coppell was doing by the time he left.

Given that neither were technically our players then it has no relevance but some valid points on others. Would still have kept Hahnemann though, as Alan Partridge says, Hahnemann was always a 7 out of 10 keeper, not flash but solid and dependable and I'm sure McCarthy would have been thrilled with the contribution he's made to Wolves this season.
