glass half fullSelma Park Finished 2-1
Part of me hopes we do get relegated, just to give some of you folks a deserved splenic rupture
Charlton (2-1 away, Norwich 5-0 away today) are doing OK in Division 1 since being relegated.
M-U-R-T-Y What I can't understand is this perpetual pessimism some of you guys seem to pride yourselves on - yeah, things haven't been great for a while but fact is we got an amazing result on Wednesday and acquitted ourselves fairly well today against a form team and after 2 hours exertion in midweek. After a blissful few days of no moaning, as soon as Howard misses a penalty against a keeper playing very well, you turn on the team straight away.
Get behind the lads for christs sake. We played well today, things will start going our way soon.

Now where have I heard that line before?
Oh that's right, about this time in 2008 and 2009 and, of course, things did start to go swimmingly our way!

Yeah to be fair I'm getting fed up with hearing this all the time. Playing well is one thing but we need to start picking up points and pulling away from the relegation zone... now.
How long does Brian deserve before we look elsewhere? (if we have a choice in the matter of course - we might be stuck with him)

Agree and disagree. Based on the games he's been in control of, I'd give the job to Brian. You must consider the situation he took over.John PeelRoyalBlueM-U-R-T-Y What I can't understand is this perpetual pessimism some of you guys seem to pride yourselves on - yeah, things haven't been great for a while but fact is we got an amazing result on Wednesday and acquitted ourselves fairly well today against a form team and after 2 hours exertion in midweek. M-U-R-T-Y Realism, yeah - noone's denying that we're in a relegation fight and there are things to be worked upon, but there have been many positives from this week. Those of you suddenly calling the team a joke again after one missed penalty in a good performance against a great side just beggar belief. That's rampant pessimism.
Football is supposed to be entertainment, just get behind the team, see the positives and enjoy yourselves you grumpy gits.

Thought the worst when I heard he was taking it. How come int he absence of Gylfi a player who has only scored one (consolation) goal for us steps up to take the pen when we had strikers on the pitch??
