RobRoyalRow Z Royal Sounds like McCarthy was probably MOTM on the radio.
He was very good but actually only had to make one difficult save (which he did, superbly).
Remarkable they didn't work him more, full credit to our aged, slow, useless back four
Pace just wasn't an issue really was it. Everton allowed us to play deep played tippy tappy football infront of us and didn't have wingers trying to beat their man. They couldn't move the ball forward quick enough on the few occasions they could have broken on us. Credit to McD for getting it right.
They didn't punish us for missing a couple of chances. Brilliant hard fought win. No poor performers IMO.
